Holy Communion

Holy Eucharist is the sacrament in which Jesus Christ gives His Body and Blood - Himself - for us, so that we too might give ourselves to Him in love and be united with Him in Holy Communion. In this way we are joined with the one Body of Christ: the Church. The Eucharist is the mysterious center of all the sacraments because the historic sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross is made present during the words of consecration in a hidden, unbloody manner.

Holy Communion can be arranged to be administered to the sick and elderly who are housebound and unable to come to church to attend Mass. Please get in touch with the Parish Office.

Confirmation

Sacrament of Confirmation is given to baptised Catholics who have never received it before. It is a sacrament by which the Catholics receive a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

For RCIA sojourners, it is usually given to them immediately after their Sacrament of Baptism at the end of the journey. For young people, they are given the sacrament near the end of their Catechism journey; when they are ready to take on a more adult role in the Church (typically when they are in Secondary level).

For more inquiries, please contact the Parish Office.

Confirmation

Holy Matrimony

Wedding Service at Church of the Holy Spirit can be arranged by contacting the Parish Office. Please make the arrangement at least 6 months in advance.

Couples are required to attend Marriage Preparation Course (MPC) or Catholic Engaged Encounter (CEE).

Anointing of the Sick

The anointing of the sick is administered to bring spiritual and even physical strength during a major illness. It conveys several graces and imparts gifts of strengthening in the Holy Spirit against anxiety, discouragement, and temptation, and conveys peace and fortitude.

Please make the arrangement with any of the priests for this sacrament to be administered.

For more inquiries, please contact the Parish Office.
